jug_gis_cities

jug_gis_cities is a Sabu service intended for geospatial data preparation at the city scale.

It focuses on cleaning, structuring, and preparing building-related GIS datasets for downstream processing.

Purpose

The service is designed to:

  • process raw geospatial datasets,
  • clean and standardize building data,
  • prepare structured inputs for further services.

Role in Sabu

jug_gis_cities is part of the geospatial layer of Sabu.

It is expected to provide prepared datasets that can be used by:

  • jug_gis_validation,
  • jug_lca_buildings.

Current status

The geospatial workflow exists, but the service is not yet fully aligned with the Sabu architectural structure.

Future development will focus on:

  • defining clear service boundaries,
  • adding API-based execution,
  • standardizing inputs and outputs,
  • integrating with shared infrastructure.
